Sheridan exits radio station

THE revamping of the all-speech radio station, Edinburgh-based talk107, claimed its latest – and, for the foreseeable future, last – victim: presenter and former MSP, Tommy Sheridan.

It is understood that Sheridan was yesterday informed he would be no longer presenting his two weekend slots, as the station seeks to change its sound and feel.

Coming in is ex-Real Radio football phone-in host and talkSPORT presenter, Bill Young.

Other exits include Ramsey Jones and Alex Hastie, leaving main sports host, Gordon Dallas, and news presenter, Gwen Lawrie, as the only survivors of the original line-up.
