A former sports writer with Scotland on Sunday is among three appointments at a Glasgow-based digital and creative advertising agency, which is celebrating a trio of commissions.
Gary Sutherland, who has most recently been an online journalist at BBC Scotland, has been taken on by Nation 1, which has also secured the services of two members of staff from stv owners, SMG: Joe Hughes, as digital planner, and Greg Barnes, as digital account manager.
The appointments also coincide with the launch this week of a new, website, www.nation1.co.uk
The company has been retained by the Charlie Taylor chain of hair salons to help drive traffic to its website, and won contracts to do likewise with www.freeflowcyles.com and for Uni Box – a firm that provides students with household and other items to help them settle into their new accommodation on leaving home for the first time.
