A CUP competition for lower league football clubs has secured sponsorship – from one of the partners behind a soon-to-launch digital TV channel dedicated to Gaelic language programming.
MG ALBA is to sponsor the Scottish Football League Challenge Cup, which is now in its 18th year.
To be known as the ALBA Challenge Cup, the semi-final and final is expected to coincide with the launch of the Gaelic Digital Service, which is being launched by both MG ALBA and the BBC.
