THIS evening sees the start of a week-long series celebrating the 25th birthday of the world’s longest-running TV police drama – Taggart.
The birthday celebrations begin on stv’s five thirty show, with the first of a series of behind-the-scenes features.
Taggart is made by the production arm of stv owners, SMG.
Next month, the show’s main cast – Blythe Duff, Alex Norton, John Michie and Colin McCredie – will be in Cannes, France, attending the prestigious international television programme sales event, MIPCOM.
