PR agency recognised for charity work

AN Aberdeen public relations company has lifted a top award in the city’s prestigious Northern Star Business Awards, organised by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce.

Mackenzie PR won the Socially Responsible Company of the Year category, for its work with local charity CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen & North), providing free advice on media matters, while also generating press and TV coverage for the charity on an on-going basis.

Mackenzie PR has also held a number of fundraising events in aid of CLAN, including a media pub quiz to which journalists from across the north-east attended and a charity ball.
