A FORMER nominee for the ‘Young journalist of the year’ title at the Scottish Press Awards is among two appointments made by the media relations team at Glasgow University.
Eleanor Cowie was nominated for the award five years ago while working for The Sunday Times. She has also written for Scotland on Sunday, The Age (Melbourne, Australia) and The Herald – where she spent four years.
She joins the university from PR agency, Weber Shandwick, where she was an account manager.
Meanwhile, Stuart Forsyth, joins from the BIG Partnership public relations agency where he, too, was an account manager.
