SOME of the biggest names in Scottish radio have been signed up to speak to media students thinking of carving a career in the sector.

Already students from Aberdeen College, Reid Kerr College and Adam Smith College have signalled their intention to attend ‘Foot in the Door’, taking place in Glasgow next month.

They will be joined by Barbara Wallace, senior content producer, Contemporary Music Scotland, BBC; Dave Ross, programme controller, Your Radio; Ciaran O’Toole, station manager/brand manager, Rock Radio; Graham Stewart, presenter, ‘Morning Extra’, BBC Radio Scotland; and Stephen Hollywood, senior producer, BBC Radio Scotland.

The event is being organised by Creative Loop, a consortium of six colleges in Scotland involved in audio-visual training.
