Repeat Pages Unlikely to be Punters’ Delight

Tomorrow sees more strike action at the Daily Record and Sunday Mail newspapers – over compulsory redundancies announced by publishers, Trinity Mirror.

But when not striking, members of the National Union of Journalists at the two titles are on a work to rule – meaning it becomes harder for the papers to be put together.

That’ll perhaps explain why the horse racing pages in yesterday’s Daily Record bore an uncanny resemblance to those in sister title, the Scottish Daily Mirror.
