New website ahead of pack, claims PR agency

AN Edinburgh PR company is making a bold claim on the launch of its new-look website: it’s ahead of the rest of the Scottish pack.

Holyrood PR – owned by former Daily Record journalists, Scott Douglas and Raymond Notarangelo – has completed testing of its new site, www.holyroodpr.co.uk, which will include video and dedicated areas for each of its clients.

But it is the frequency of its updating that leads Holyrood to believe it is ahead of the rest of the Scottish PR sector.

Says Douglas: “It is difficult to do anything new in web terms, but we have achieved that in the Scottish PR sector.

“I don’t believe there is another PR website in the country which has embraced the content-driven world of Web 2.0 with such relish.

“Most PR sites are lucky if they are updated once a week – let alone six or seven times a day.”
