EX-pat Scots get the chance to connect with the ‘old country’ tomorrow when, for the first time, they can watch on their computer the final of shinty’s blue ribband competition, the Camanachd Cup – via the internet.
A rights agreement between the sport and BBC Scotland will allow for the final – between holders, Fort William, and Kingussie – to be transmitted live on broadband to outside the UK.
Otherwise, it can be seen on BBC TWO Scotland, from 2.20pm onwards, with sports presenter, Alison Walker, hosting the show.
Meanwhile, Your Other National Game (tonight at 10 pm, on BBC TWO Scotland) will be previewing the match and assessesing the state of the ancient game.
