Property Enewspaper launching today

TODAY, 40 of the ‘great and the good’ from the Scottish commercial property scene are expected to attend the launch of website promising “constantly updated news and feature coverage of the sector”, set up by four of Scotland’s best-known commercial property journalists.

Described as an electronic newspaper, www.compropscotland.com has been set up by Stewart McIntosh, Jim Dow, Chris Dobson and Ken Houston, thanks to initial sponsorship from Lloyds TSB Scotland.

Lawyers, Tods Murray, are hosting today’s launch.

Said Stewart McIntosh: “This is a unique Scottish website which can be freely-accessed. It will follow the standard newspaper format and give professional and incisive coverage of a sector which is a major part of the Scottish economy but which, until now, has not received the media acknowledgement that we believe it deserves.

“It will also be a vehicle for views and opinions about what is happening in the sector and will also the focus on people and issues. We know from our research that there is an appetite for greater coverage of Scottish commercial property.”
