THE Edinburgh International Television Festival is full of people greeting each other enthusiastically, no doubt most of it sincerely.
So, it was one of those priceless moments when the current acting chief executive of SMG, owners of stv, suddenly found himself in the awkward position of joining a small gathering that so happened to include an ex senior producer at stv who is taking her former employers to an industrial tribunal.
Allegedly, Agnes Wilkie was sacked at the start of the year for what seems like a mildly disparaging comment in an email to a colleague about stv managing director, Bobby Hain.
