Channel 4 breakfast show invite to Scottish indies

SCOTS independent TV and radio production companies are being invited to a briefing on Channel 4’s recent foray into online radio.

As Spike reported last week, Angel Eye Media – which has an office in Glasgow, as well as London – has just been commissioned by Channel 4 to produce daily shows from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The event, hosted by Stuart Cosgrove, Channel 4’s head of programmes (nations and regions). It has been organised by Glasgow-based The Research Centre, which aims to develop talent and business skills in the audio-visual industries.

It is a breakfast event, and is taking place a week tomorrow, though tickets must be booked from The Research Centre by Friday.

Says the centre: “Stuart will be taking us through Channel Four Online and On Radio and how Scottish indies can get involved.”
