FANS of US presidential drama, The West Wing, will find comfort in one of the latest additions to this month’s MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival line-up.
Though the series’ last ever episode was shown in the UK on Friday, its creator, Aaron Sorkin, will take part in the festival via a live satellite link-up to discuss his newest venture: a comedy drama set behind the scenes of a struggling late-night sketch show.
‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip’, which has already been bought Channel 4, features alongside other new offerings as part of the festival’s New Season Showcase.
The festival takes place between the 25th and 27th of this month.
