THE leader of the City of Edinburgh Council is calling for a new arts body – to include Scottish Screen – to be headquartered in the capital.
Ewan Aitken is reported saying that the placing of the new Creative Scotland body – created following a merger between the Scottish Arts Council and Scottish Screen – anywhere else in the country “would be an act of cultural vandalism against the nation”.
