On Monday, Stewart Kirkpatrick, a former editor of The Scotsman's website, used his blog on to announce he intended to create a publication devoted to 'high quality' journalism and that writers had already been signed up.

And yesterday, he unveiled more details in a video interview with digital consultant, former newspaper journalist and allmediascotland supporter, Craig McGill.

Kirkpatrick's plan will heavily involve the internet.
