The University of Stirling has launched a Masters course in Media Communications Management in partnership with Vietnam National University and its affiliate, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The course is being taught in Ho Chi Minh city and Stirling was represented at a launch event this week by its Principal, Professor Christine Hallett, who said: “Vietnam has the second youngest population in the world and its investment in education is among the largest of the ASEAN – Association of Southeast Asian Nations – group of countries.

“The new MSc in Media Communications Management will provide important support to Vietnam’s rapidly expanding media industries and demonstrates Stirling’s commitment to deliver high quality education abroad.”

Also representing Stirling at the event were course co-directors, Dr Matthew Hibberd and Dr An Nguyen, both of whom also teach on the postgraduate courses at the University of Economics, Danang, Vietnam.
