An account director with one of Scotland's best-known PR agencies has been appointed communications and marketing manager at the umbrella body for voluntary organisations in Scotland.
Ann Rowe joins the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations with over ten years communications experience spanning in-house and consultancy roles. She joins from Smarts where she worked for over six years, on a range of clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
In her new role, Ann will be managing SCVO’s communications team which works with the media and produces a range of publications including the weekly newspaper, Third Force News. Her role will also include leading on the organisation’s marketing strategies for promoting SCVO’s shared services to voluntary organisations and for promoting the interests of SCVO members in the media.
