Interiors Project Lures Laura from Senior PR Post

The head of PR at one of Scotland's leading communications agency is leaving to set up a vintage interiors business.

Laura McIlquham has been at DADA for almost seven years, since the company was formed. While she will be doing a little freelance PR work, she is to concentrate on running Love Me Again, an online shop selling vintage furniture and interiors accessories.

She has been a director at DADA for five years and leaves tomorrow.

Prior to DADA, she was at Reekie PR, now Freshwater. Clients have included Glasgow's Princes Square, the National Trust for Scotland, Malcay Inns, Whyte & Mackay, BoConcept and Buchanan Galleries, also in Glasgow.

She is being succeeded by Julie MacSporran, who has been with DADA for four years.

She told allmediascotland.com: “I joined DADA in 2003 and have had an amazing time helping grow the company – it’s a hugely creative and fun agency and I’ll be sad to leave a wonderful team and a great mix of clients. However, I’m looking forward to getting Love Me Again off the ground, a vintage interior business which I will be launching in October, and also focusing on some freelance projects.”
