A Fife college has had two of its courses accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
Adam Smith College has been offering its HND Practical Journalism course for three years, while its Diploma Journalism Day Release one is new.
Says the NCTJ: “The course leaders have demonstrated a commitment to providing the gold standard qualification and delivering high-quality journalism training to students who have the talent and dedication to succeed in their journalism careers.
“The NCTJ accreditation panel was very impressed with the team’s dedication and understanding of what is required on an NCTJ-accredited course.”
Both courses have been granted accreditation for one year.
