Front page apologies proposal reported of PCC

NEWSPAPERS may be required to publish apologies – at least in part – on their front pages, according to proposals said to have been drawn up by the Press Complaints Commission.

Reports The Guardian today, the PCC is due to present the proposals on Thursday at a summit of newspaper and magazine editors being held in London.

A facility to levy fines is also expected to be the subject of discussion.
