Another Leveson appointment for Herald editor

THE editor of The Herald is to make a second appearance at the Leveson Inquiry into press standards.

Jonathan Russell is today scheduled to be joined at the inquiry by the Chief Constable of Strathclyde Police, Stephen House, and his colleague, director of communications, Rob Shorthouse.

Also scheduled to appear are Catherine Llewellyn (press officer, South Wales Police), Sean O’Neil (Times) and Peter Vaughan (Chief Constable, South Wales Police).

Russell previously appeared at the inquiry in January, along with Scotsman editor, John McLellan.
