AN oldie but goodie from The Scottsh Sun on Sunday: Reporter, Kenny Angove, ‘turned the tables’ on ‘charity muggers’, aka ‘chuggers’, to see whether they liked being confronted on the street, with an impassioned plea to part with money.
Says the paper: “We sent Scottish Sun man Kenny Angove, 30, on to the streets to find fundraisers and pester them to subscribe to the nation’s favourite paper.”
There is no mention how successful he was.
