A debate about the Leveson Inquiry into Press standards is being hosted in Glasgow, featuring, among others, the editor of the Daily Record newspaper.
Allan Rennie – who is also editor of Record sister title, the Sunday Mail – is scheduled to appear at the debate along with Atholl Duncan, former head of news and current affairs at BBC Scotland, and lawyer and The Scottish Sun on Sunday columnist, Aamer Anwar.
Being organised by The Drum media and marketing magazine, the debate is taking place on Thursday, the 28th of this month.
In particular, the topic for discussion will be how either independence or devo-max could or should affect news media regulation in Scotland.
