Courier drugs coverage helps lead to police crackdown

COVERAGE of illegal drug selling in Dundee by the city’s daily newspaper, The Courier, has helped lead to police raids on suspected dealers.

Says the paper: “Thanks to coverage in The Courier, officers wearing protective gear, and armed with battering rams, stormed five addresses in Menzieshill, Lochee, Stobswell, the Hilltown and St Marys.”

It adds: “Over the past three days, The Courier has carried out an extensive investigation in to drugs in Scotland.”
