Proposed Edinburgh marketing slogan reportedly fails to convince council leaders

A PROPOSED marketing slogan for Edinburgh has reportedly not gone down well with council leaders, according to today’s Sunday Herald newspaper.

Writes Paul Hutcheon, the slogan, ‘Incredinburgh’ – plus other suggestions such as ‘Wellfedinedinburgh’ – has been presented by the locally-based communications company, The Leith Agency.

Hutcheon claims deputy council leader, Steve Cardownie, walked out of a presentation meeting, because of the “same theme being re-heated”.
