Media Broth: Some sustenance for the day ahead

THE Herald columnist, Alan Taylor, was the other day bemoaning folk who talk loudly into their mobile phones while travelling on public transport. One possible way to get the loudmouths to shut up, he suggests, is to begin transcribing, into a notebook, what is being said.
