ONE of Scotland’s top PR agencies has appointed a new director.
Beattie Communications has appointed Alex Pagett, formerly corporate affairs director at the Hilton Group plc, as a non-executive director.
Says Beattie: “Pagett is one of the UK’s most respected PR practitioners. His main focus will be advising on strategy and reputation management for corporate, financial, consumer and business-to-business clients.”
Pagett was previously corporate affairs and communications director at Bank of Scotland, running up to its merger with Halifax.
He is also a former a chief press officer at the then Scottish Office.
He said: “Beattie is an agency that I have long respected. They are media savvy people with an understanding of what news is and how to get coverage and build brands in both the traditional and new media.”
