BRITISH Energy in Scotland has got a new Scottish public relations officer.
Yvonne White, formerly media relations officer with Lothian and Borders Police, is based at Livingston and working with Sue Fletcher, who was promoted, earlier this year, to media relations manager.
Yvonne will form part of British Energy’s UK PR team, working with colleagues Martyn Butlin, north region PRO based at Heysham, and Martin Pearce, south region PRO, based at Paddington.
Yvonne’s seven-year career in public relations and public affairs has spanned a variety of high-profile public and private sector industries including NHS Ayrshire and Arran Acute Hospitals Trust and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry in Scotland.
