PR pair get taste for going it alone

TWO key members of a well-known Glasgow-based PR agency have left to set up on their own.

In setting up Liquorice Media, Susan Christie and Graham Lironi – formerly of Blueprint – have also managed to hold on to many of their previous clients.

Says Liquorice Media: “We aim to provide a range of corporate PR, consumer PR and reputation management services and we are launching with a selection of clients operating within the leisure, corporate and professional services sectors.”

Christie has 15 years of high-level account handling experience, while Lironi is a former editor of Business Scotland magazine.

Added Christie: “Liquorice Media has been launched to produce and place all sorts of copy for all sorts of clients across all sorts of media. Whilst each of our clients have their own objectives and their own messages they wish to communicate to their own audiences, what they all acknowledge is the benefits to be had from a planned media campaign delivering regular media exposure.”

Said Lironi: “Although it’s been a wrench to leave our former colleagues at Blueprint, Susan and I are delighted that our key clients have shown their faith in us by supporting us in this new venture.”
