Directorial changes at Weber Shandwick

ALISON Shaw, former chief reporter of the Evening Express, Aberdeen, and newly-appointed to an account director, has taken over as interim leader of PR firm, Weber Shandwick’s Aberdeen operation, following the departure of two directors there.

Deputy managing director, John Macdonald, who headed the operations in Aberdeen and Inverness, is stepping down from a full-time role after 22 years, and takes up a consultancy position with the firm with whom he has experienced two take-overs.

Associate director, Jonathan Moore, is moving to an in-house position with oil and gas company, Talisman, to whom he has been on secondment for the past six months. He joined Weber Shandwick from the Press and Journal.

The firm is now recruiting account managers in Aberdeen and Inverness.
