The sales and marketing director of the Daily Record and Sunday Mail has been promoted within publishers, Trinity Mirror.
Lorraine Fraser has been made marketing director for the publisher’s Nationals Division, comprising the Daily Record and Sunday Mail and also the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and The People.
She will report to divisional managing director, Mark Hollinshead, along with London-based John Howard, who has also been promoted: from circulation manager for the Nationals Division to circulation director.
Says Hollinshead: “Lorraine will maximise the effectiveness of our marketing activity across the wider, five-title portfolio for which she will now be responsible.
“Likewise, John has many years experience in front line newspaper sales management and his energy and focus on sales will prove highly effective as we progress with this exciting new division-wide approach to managing the performance of our newspapers.”
Circulation director, John East, and head of marketing, Tim Anderson, are both leaving the business.
