A PROPOSED exhibition of photographs taken by photography students has issued a call for entries.
The exhibition – to be held next year at The Guardian newspaper HQ in London – is open to photographers from a training course accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists. Say the organisers, the exhibition is “to celebrate 30 years of outstanding press photography training” and will comprise 50 images.
Entries will be judged by, among others, Steve Phillips, picture editor, South Wales Evening Post; Paul Sanders, picture editor, The Times; and freelance photographer, Rob Rathbone.
NCTJ-trained photographers are asked to send no more than two images to glen.oldershaw@nctj.com
The email should contain details of your name, a brief description of the picture and a contact telephone number. It is also necessary to confirm that the NCTJ has permission to display the photographs in the exhibition.
