DC Thomson Among Winners at Marketing Society Scotland Awards

Dundee-based publishing company, DC Thomson, lifted three awards at an awards ceremony celebrating the best of marketing in Scotland.

In the ‘strategic stars’ category of the Marketing Society of Scotland's Star Awards, the company won gold for brand development with ‘The Official Jacqueline Wilson Magazine’ – with the magazine also winning bronze, this time in the marketing planning sector.

The company also lifted a silver award in the marketing planning section for its entry, ‘How creative use of insight can drive success in a declining market'.

The Leith Agency picked up the main agency prize while Ian McAteer, managing director of The Union, won the Agency Star of the Year award.
