Shareholders reportedly approve Menzies pay award

A THREE per cent increase in directors pay at aviation and newspapers and magazines distribution company – John Menzies – has been approved by shareholders, reports today’s Herald newspaper.

Writes Mark Williamson, no votes were cast against the proposed remuneration package, with 99.85 per cent of proxy votes in favour.

The Scotsman’s Erikka Askeland, meanwhile, begins: “Logistics company John Menzies reported a strong start to the year yesterday, with trading in line with expectations of the board and analysts.”
