BBC Try, Try And Try Again

Questions are being asked about BBC Scotland’s knowledge of anything other than football after an own goal on their rugby coverage.

According to a story published on their website, regarding the Scotland squad for the forthcoming Autumn Internationals, “Edinburgh captain (Mike) Blair and Glasgow Warriors skipper (Chris) Cusiter will vie for the sole scrum-half position and the right to wear the armband.”

Of course, followers of rugby will know that there is no such thing as a captain wearing an armband in the sport. Lest we cause any further confusion at Pacific Quay, there is also no such occurence as an own goal in rugby.

Followers of rugby will also know that Chris Cusiter is not Warrior's skipper - Al Kellock is.........two own goals!
