STV Launches New Jobsite Advert

A new commercial is being launched on STV, to promote the broadcaster's jobs website.

Developed by STV's own advertising creatives, STV Creative - in association with advertising agency, The Union - the commercial asks, ‘What were you born to be?’. It features children playing in the early 80’s, followed by suggestions of their future careers; for instance, two girls baking with their mum might grow up to become chefs.

The advertising campaign ties in with a quiz, on www.stvjobs.com, which can help job seekers identify the occupations they were born to do, or might be best suited for.

The commercial's producer is Gill Hanlon and the director is Michael Hines.

The ad is set to run throughout the year, in 40, 20 and 10-second formats.
