BBC Scotland's comedy department is on the look-out for new writing talent, via a competition with three mentoring prizes up for grabs.
Write Here, Write Now has a deadline date of March 26 and from the entries received, three writers will have their ideas worked up, under the watchful eye of mentors, for a performance during the Edinburgh International Festival.
In the first instance, what is being asked of participants is the first 10-15 pages (no more than 2000 words) of a sitcom or comedy drama idea.
