A BBC Radio Scotland reporter, producer and sometime presenter has been appointed head of public relations and media operations at Scottish Rugby.
Nick Rougvie will be joining Scottish Rugby on the third of next month.
Says Scottish Rugby's Dominic McKay, director of communications and public affairs: "Nick's background in various aspects of broadcast and print media, including his current role with BBC Scotland, will equip him to carry out the responsibilities of the post, including press/media office management, social media development, website content development, matchday media operations, community PR and line management of the Pro Team media managers."
Today also saw the unveiling of a new chief executive of Scottish Rugby, Mark Dodson, a former chief executive at the Guardian Media Group's regional media division until its acquisition by Trinity Mirror last year.
