Media Awards Triumph for Daily Record & Sunday Mail

The Daily Record and Sunday Mail newspaper was last night lauded for its publishing and business development strategy, at a ceremony celebrating the best in media sales in Scotland.

At the Scottish Media Awards, the Daily Record and Sunday Mail were chosen winners of the main, Grand Prix, prize, after picking up a variety of the other awards up for grabs. Meanwhile, rivals, News International, were also celebrating, after being chosen Media Sales Team of the Year.

This commercial win for the Daily Record and Sunday Mail follows the Record being recognised for its editorial quality, as Newspaper of the Year, at the Scottish Press Awards, held in April. The Daily Record and Sunday Mail advertising director is Denise West.
