Time to clock in early

JONATHAN Russell – the editor of the Daily Record’s afternoon edition, PM – probably couldn’t believe his eyes.

While he needs to be in the office at the crack of dawn, to oversee the production of Record PM, the paper’s managing editor doesn’t necessarily have to.

But, on Friday, just after six in the morning, there was Derek Stewart-Brown, making it two people in the building rather than the usual one.

Which might be because Stewart-Brown looked at his alarm clock that morning and got up, thinking it was 6am, when it was really 5am.
