Reporting on war, famine, natural disaster, accidents, murder, rape and sexual abuse is common, and can place serious psychological demands on the individual.

Yet, in an environment where few people confess to emotional vulnerability, journalists often find it difficult to admit to themselves, let alone others, that they’re struggling.”
