TV journalist, David Allison, was looking like a ‘typical BBC Scotland executive’, in his ‘open-necked shirt, black leather jaiket and jeans’ – according to the Scottish Daily Express diarist, Hickey.
Writes Hickey today, Allison was spotted cycling along the Great Western Road, in Glasgow, his “silvery, silken locks streaming in the breeze”.
And his garb had Hickey concluding: “And he’s one of the smarter fellows in the fetid corridors of Pacific Quay.”
