AN exhibition dedicated to the meetings, events and corporate hospitality industries will take place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on January 19 next year.

Building on the success of the first Events Event, sponsors Elite Promotions are confident that the 2012 exhibition will be even bigger and better.

John Anderson who runs Elite Promotions with his wife, Kathleen, said: “It’s a one-stop shop for the very latest the events industry has to offer, all under one roof and all on one day. The show has quickly become the top event industry exhibition in Scotland.”

The all-day exhibition is being supported by The Press & Journal, Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, Original 106fm, Aberdeen PA and Cameron Presentations.

The Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Breakfast on the morning of the event with guests gaining priority entry to the exhibition. Business Network Scotland will also host a lunch at the AECC for their members on the day.

It is expected that there will be more than 100 exhibitors covering everything from the latest team building games to Scotland’s top conference venues.

Among those who are returning for a second year are The Murrayfield Experience who provide the corporate hospitality at Murrayfield Stadium.

Sales development manager, Joanne Lindsay, said: “The level of potential and existing clients we met at the 2011 event made it absolutely essential that we return in 2012.”

Highlights for the next exhibition will include the very latest in lighting, event furniture and a full size Formula 1 racing car simulator.

There will also be a prize draw for event buyers who register online and attend on the day. The prize includes the use of a chauffeur driven BMW 7 Series, a three-night break at a luxury apartment and dinner at one of Scotland’s top hotels.
