Free to search: media releases, media jobs, media directory
THE busiest column on allmediascotland.com is its steady stream of story ideas, in the guise of media releases posted by third parties, such as charities and SMEs.
It is not only free to view the releases on the site, but – if you are a journalist – elect to receive alerts of certain types of release. That is done on signing up to the site.
And, of course, there is a twitter feed back-up: twitter.com/nonstopstories.
And if that wasn’t all, our media release distribution service is backed by various dedicated, subject-based twitter feeds: charities, education, energy, fashion, film, food, gardens, and legal. Plus motors, music, outdoors, property, science, sports, drink and travel. And not forgetting festivals and visual arts.
But that’s not all that’s free to search on the site: we have our media jobs board (backed by twitter.com/allmediajobs) and our directory of media services and products (and services and products directly relevant to the media).
On the front page of the site there is the facility for a ‘free word search’. Within the directory, there is both a ‘free word search’ option and a choose-from-a-menu one too.
