Media releases

THE allmediascotland.com media releases service is not one, but two services.

First, it is a facility to allow organisations – including charities, SMEs, educational institutions, theatre groups, etc – to promote themselves. Second, is a source of story ideas for journalists.

For organisations wishing to promote themselves, it is instant profile. Releases on the site are there for journalists and the wider public to find, and for online search engines to showcase. A pay-for service, release subscribers have the facility also to forward their releases to the site’s media mailing list, which includes local newspapers in Scotland, along with radio stations, news websites, national broadcasters, etc, etc.

But it is not just about delivery, it is also about quality and allmediascotland provides training to help ensure that, once delivered, a release can then attract the attention of its target readership.

We have several subscription packages available, tailored for different needs – each one about self-promotion, not making claims about third parties. Click here, for more information.

Journalists, meanwhile, are drawn to allmediascotland for two reasons: for the site’s mix of news, comment and features about their own sector and for the story ideas provided by the media releases published on the site. (There’s a third reason too: media jobs.)

As well as being able to view the releases that are live on the site, journalists are invited to follow any of our several, dedicated twitter feeds.

They are, as follows:
