Two new board members for Gaelic media body, MG ALBA

ONE half of the Gaelic language digital TV channel, BBC ALBA, has itself two new board members.

The broadcasting regulators, Ofcom, has announced the appointments to the board of MG ALBA, the body responsible for funding Gaelic programming.

They are Iain Campbell, vice-chair of Bòrd na Gàidhlig, and Dugald Macaulay, owner and managing director of CME Investments Ltd, a service company which runs children’s nurseries.

Both members have been appointed for four years, effective from Saturday.

In May, MG ALBA welcomed two new board members, Jo Macdonald and David Brew.
