Media Release: Nicola Sturgeon and Michael Moore to debate Scottish independence at Radio Forth business dinnner

RADIO Forth is launching its first-ever business dinner with guest speakers, Deputy First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and Michael Moore, Secretary of State for Scotland, set to debate the impact independence would have on Scotland’s economy.

This will be the first time the Scottish and UK governments will go head to head on the issue since the referendum date was set for September 18th, 2014.

Hosted by parent company Bauer Media’s political editor Colin Mackay and top Edinburgh lawyer Willie Hunter, the event, to be held at Prestonfield House Hotel, will provide an unique opportunity for guests who will have the chance to question both speakers directly.

Colin Mackay, political editor at Bauer Media, commented: “Our business dinner is set to bring out some interesting and strong standpoints on the most talked about aspect of Scottish politics – the independence referendum.

“This is the first debate between two of the biggest players in the referendum and looks likely to be lively with both parties taking questions from the floor.”

The inaugural business dinner will be held at Prestonfield House Hotel Stables on Thursday, May 23rd at 7pm.
