THE multi-award winning Enchanted Forest Nurseries Group is to open its newest setting and first Glasgow centre next month (April 2015).

Enchanted Forest Early Learning, located in the Nova Business Park in Robroyston, the new nursery is the group’s fifth in the west of Scotland.

Creating 22 full and part-time jobs, the new nursery will be located opposite Wallace Well Retail Park, close to Wallace Well Farm Restaurant (M80/Jnc 2) and will open from 7am until 7pm daily, catering for 81 babies, toddlers and young children, ranging in age from six weeks up to five years.

Founded in 2006 by husband and wife team, Bernie and Mariessa Devlin, Enchanted Forest currently operates four settings across the West of Scotland in Erskine, Thornliebank, Inverkip and Greenock, employing over 85 staff and caring for over 500 children weekly.

Currently, Robroyston nursery manager, Katie Maun, and her team are planning an open day at the nursery prior to mark the official opening when parents can view the facilities for themselves and hear firsthand about the nursery’s flair for delivering high quality care.

Says a spokesperson: “The quality of their offering has earned the nurseries recognition for their Excellence in Customer Service at a myriad of award ceremonies including Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce’s ROCCOs, Greenock Chamber’s Bees Knees, and Scottish Nursery Management Awards as well as from Mumset.:

Mariessa Devlin, MD and co-founding director of Enchanted Forest Nurseries, comments: “We are delighted to be bringing Enchanted Forest Early Learning to Robroyston.

“We are successfully continuing to expand our brand of award winning childcare because we wholeheartedly believe that it is our responsibility to treat each child in our care, as if they were our own.

“Our overriding focus is educating and developing each child in the early years, to ensure they are instilled with high levels of confidence and an enjoyment of learning through nurture, love and care.

“Vitally, all of this is provided in a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere for our children, their parents and carers. We appreciate the fundamental role parents/carers have in the lives of their child, therefore we are very skilled at involving them in the ongoing development of the services we provide.”

Mariessa adds: “Similarly, at Enchanted Forest Nurseries, we believe we are only as good as our last day and certainly only as good as our staff, so we ensure that every single member of our team is trained to believe in themselves, which allows us to bring out the very best in the children in our care.”

Active outdoor play will be promoted for all children as they encounter the specially designed adjoining discovery space.
