STV has made a senior appointment to its content production team.
As head of production, Rebecca Porter will oversee and co-ordinate production management across a range of genres for STV Productions and Ginger Productions, reporting to Alan Clements, director of content.
She joins STV from Raw Cut Television, where she worked as head of production on a range of programmes, including Disaster Eyewitness, for Discovery US and EMEA; Road Wars 7, for Sky One; and Police Interceptors, for Five.
Porter has also worked for Flame Television, Ricochet, Tigress Productions and North One Television, with production manager credits including drama documentary, Dickens’ Secret Lover, for Channel 4; documentary, Hells Angels: The Road to Hell, for Five; and Living in the Sun, for BBC One.
